Dr Shaoliang “Richard” He established the Berowra Station Surgery 2017, and after treating the Berowra and surrounding Communities, could see his practice growing and requesting more services. In March 2019, Dr He keen to expand his services amalgamated the Surgery with The Madison Medical Practice Model. Dr He is proud to be associated with a quality family based Practice, of which he is the appointed Medical Principal. The Madison Medical Practice Berowra welcomes Dr Johanes Bijosono Oei to the Berowra team. Johane’s graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 and completed his internship and residency at Blacktown, Mount Druitt & Concord hospitals. Johane’s General Practice training has seen him treat and care for patients regionally, in areas such as Nelson Bay and Taree.
He enjoys all aspects of general practice but is particularly interested in chronic disease management and pediatrics. He has completed a diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s hospital in 2017. Johane’s is fluent in English and Indonesian. The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Anjuman Jui to our Clinical team. Dr Anjuman Jui completed her MBBS from a top-ranked Government medical school – Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh. She moved to Australia in 2007 and continued her studies and training throughout. She holds the Australian Medical Council Certificate and started the intern and residency training program at Westmead Hospital Sydney in 2010. During her hospital years she worked in different rural and regional Hospitals such as Bathurst, Orange, Coffs Harbour Base Hospital and Temora District Hospital. She entered into AGPT-Australian General Practice Training program and completed her GP training at Murrumbidgee Riverina Wagga Wagga and Temora. She completed her GP Fellowship exams successfully in 2015 and was awarded FRACGP from the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners. She aims to provide quality health care and is interested in all areas in General Practice. Anjuman is passionate about Australian rural communities and often travels to rural and remote areas of Australia to provide healthcare services. Isabella Ooi – Consultant Podiatrist

Isabella Ooi – Consultant Podiatrist

Isabella is a Registered Podiatrist with the Australian Podiatry Association having graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Medicine. She has experience within Australia in both public and private sectors, has complete training with podiatric surgeons and overseas in Galway, Ireland.

Having grown up on the North Shore, she is passionate about servicing her community and playing an active role in improving the quality of life of others. Her specialty is interacting with ‘at risk’ populations such as elderly and diabetic patients. Isabella is particularly interested in diabetic foot care, fungal nails, treating ingrown nails and nail surgery. She has a holistic treatment approach incorporating evidence-based practice; extending to life style modifications and orthotic therapy.

Her easy going, compassionate and sincere nature is what helps patients warm to her so quickly. She loves a good chat and challenge, and she strives to have every patient walk out with a smile.

Gauri is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian specialising in South Asian Diets. She grew up in the country side on fresh vegetarian food and loved growing vegetables from a young age. She believes that healthy eating is possible in every culture and cuisine. Gauri is passionate about cooking from fresh ingredients and trialling various cuisines. She is a mother of a toddler and understands the challenges of cooking for a family with varying nutritional needs and tastes. Gauri has been working as a dietitian for 5 years and in private practice for 2 years. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team who are committed to holistic and preventative health. Gauri’s favourite thing about being a private dietitian is getting to know and help her patients from diverse backgrounds to love food and enjoy good health. Gauri has had experience in a major public hospitals and various nursing homes. Gauri has a special management programs that assist in weight loss, weight gain, healthy eating, Diabetes, Blood pressure and Cholesterol management, Vegetarian and Vegan diets, Emotional eating, Digestive health, Liver health, Food allergies and intolerances and Women’s health.

Kiran graduated from the Goldcoast TAFE in 2016 as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. She has been working for many years as a Medical Receptionist and has extensive experience within the health care setting. Kiran is fluent in English and Punjabi.

Leesa is a Registered Psychologist, who trained at the University of New South Wales and Sydney University. She has extensive knowledge and experience in working with acute and chronic clinical Mental Health presentations, such as schizophrenia and bipolar, as well as with gambling addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting concerns and has experience in working with children, adolescents, adults as well as older persons. Her special interests are parenting interventions, attachment theory depression, anxiety, gambling and post natal depression and psycho-education.

Leesa is a Psychology Supervisor and mentors and teaches Psychology Interns. She works collaboratively, using a variety of therapy styles including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focussed therapy, Motivational Interviewing and strengths based therapy. Leesa’s approach to treatment is that is should be a collaboration, with the aim to assist the client to identify and build on their strengths to help them to live the fulfilling and value filled life they deserve.

She is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA and Medicare and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI).
