SATURDAY & AFTER HOURS FEES
Effective 1st July 2022 – Due to rising operational costs and historically low Medicare MBS rebates, The Madison Medical Practice is applying gap payments for all Saturday consultations for patients aged 16 years and above.
Patients aged 16 and under will continue to be bulk billed directly to Medicare on Saturdays.
A proportionate amount of the fee can be claimed back from Medicare after your consultation.
MEDICAL SPECIALISTS, ALLIED HEALTH & OTHER SERVICES: Out-of-pocket fees will apply for Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology and Dietetic services. Out-of-pocket fees will apply for surgical procedures, IV Infusions, travel vaccines and wound care management. Please ask our reception staff for more information when booking for these services.
